This explains what happens to your information when you use the DVein Innovations website. It covers this website only. We have written it plainly, because the website itself collects very little.

Who we are

What happens when you use the website

Visiting the website

The website is delivered by our hosting provider, Vercel. Like any web host, it handles basic technical details about each request, such as your internet address (IP address), your browser and device type, and the page you asked for, and it keeps standard server logs. We do not use these details to identify you or to build a profile of you.

Checking a certificate

When you type a certificate ID into the checker, that ID is sent to our verification service, which runs on Google Cloud in Mumbai, India. The service answers with the name on the certificate, the programme, the duration, the date it was issued and a copy of the certificate itself. Anyone who has a valid certificate ID can see this. That is the purpose of the checker: it lets employers and universities confirm that a certificate is genuine.

We do not keep a record of who checked a certificate or which ID they typed. To stop misuse, the service briefly counts how many checks come from one internet address within a minute; these counts are held only in the service's memory and are not stored. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as above.

Applying for an internship or contacting us

The website has no form that sends information to us. The button Continue on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with a message already written from the choices you made (your name, the track and the duration). Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. When you do, we receive your WhatsApp number, your name and your message, and WhatsApp (operated by Meta) handles the conversation under its own privacy policy. The email and phone links on the website simply open your own email or phone app.

The map

The contact section shows a Google Map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google, which may collect information such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies, under Google's privacy policy.

Your browser's storage

The website does not use cookies. During a festival greeting it saves one small note in your browser's session storage to remember that you have already seen the greeting, so it does not appear again on every visit. This note is deleted when you close the tab. It does not identify you.

How we use information

Only to answer you, to run our courses and internships, and to confirm certificates. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who else sees it

The services that make the website work: Vercel (hosting), Google Cloud (the certificate checker), Google (the map) and WhatsApp (messages you choose to send). We share information with anyone else only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages you send us are kept only as long as we need them to deal with your request or to run your course or internship. Server logs are kept by our hosting providers for their standard periods.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@dveininnovation.com. You may also have rights under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can also use the website without sending us anything at all.

Security

The website and the certificate checker use encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Changes to this policy

If the website changes in a way that affects your information, for example if we add analytics, we will update this page and its date before the change goes live.
